I've noticed it too, used to farm haku eyes with a WHM friend, while we were levelling our NPC's. I'd be tanking on THF, solid hate, and he'd get sleep or bind casted on him, as WHM/THF. Was pretty annoying occasionally, para WS on me, then sleep my friend, AI sure was doing their best there.
