Hume ftw. HP/MP differences can easily be countered by merits, I am a blm for life, you dont know how many times ive seen taru blm's die, and it aint cuz of dmg its cuz of HP. Besides a taru blm has only what 5INT difference over a hume.

if money was no setback (even tho it'll always will be), craft would be Smithing or Goldsmithing.
For job I'd not do BRD first I think, might do it after that but I'd start with a melee job and most likely DRK because yeah ... Taru DRK just look cute ^^
