E button not working

Now before you ask this, I am obviously typing from a different computer, otherwise you would have no idea what my problem is without playing a guessing game. Basically, my KB's e button is not working. Nothing happened, it just suddenly stopped working near the end of a party. Why? No clue. My question: How do I fix it? If I can't fix it, then I will go buy another, and if I can, would it just be more worthwhile to buy another? Thanks in advance for your e-mazing (sorry, couldn't resist) help.

Obvious question, maybe, but you have restarted the machine right?

Also check your keyboard connection.

if you're doing this id be careful, it can spell the future doom of your keyboard, if you happen to have an extra 10 bucks lying around then get a new one and fuck it, if not (or if you happen to like your current keyboard and paid a nice price for it) then try to fix it
