Installation Problem

So I decided to cave in and just buy Vana'Diel Collection 2007. I've run into a problem. I can't run POL on Vista.

1) If I use the Game disc, I can't upload POL and therefore can't install FFXI
1) If I download the Vista version from POL, I can't find the files that will allow me to install FFXI and the expansions.

The only solution I can think of is to downgrade to XP but I don't have a Windows XP CD. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Install POL from the exe you downloaded, install FFXI from the CD/DVDs.

im doing the same exact thing right now just went off to college and since i lost like all my old disks just ran out and bought the collection, comp is running in vista also. im also terrible with computers unfortunately =[
