I don't see why not, but StarHawk said it might not through IM. I can't test it until I get home though.

unless they're doing more than just pre-pending characters, I don't see how it would mess up a parser that was using relative position tokens instead of absolute position tokens. I don't know which DVS uses (I really should read through your source someday) but if you're using pattern matching that isn't dependent on position from start of string you should be ok.
ok, it's probably also extended the maximum line length, so that might have an effect too depending on how you fetch lines from memory.
It's all based on regular expressions, but all the regular expressions use the ^$ characters to anchor to the start/end of string. Would be easy to fix even if it's broken though.Originally Posted by Amele
you gotta teach me how to find the new memlocs divisor![]()
Look me up on AIM and I will. It's not too hard. But only if you promise to actually work on the parser!!Originally Posted by Zhais

I was planning on it tonight, but didn't have the memloc :D
so I skilled up dagger instead ._.
Dvsparse is up and running again~
http://sourceforge.net/projects/dvsparse/
Works with windower timestamping too.
Should have memloc fixes out quicker next time :D
Just to inform that neither Drain spell or added effect damage such as Algol's fire damage, aren't displayed on the parse data.
Edit: Dread Spikes effect isn't displayed either.
Is there a working version? My DvsParse doesn't display anything while partying (yes, I have 1.7.3). =(
redownload it. the 1.7.3 that released Aug. 30 was a dirty build and didn't work.Originally Posted by Epical
1.7.3 sept 1 works fine.
I'm getting an application error when i try to run dvsparse (current version):
"The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135)."
Love dvsparse, this version is the first time i've failed to have it load properly.
when are you starting it? if you're starting it without FFXI up, start FFXI first.
otherwise check your .net framework version.
Thanks! I had to reinstall windows recently and totally forgot to re-download the .net framework.
Fixed the problem :D
That worked, thanks.Originally Posted by Amele
ok maybe its just me but when i go to the dvs site there is nothing there to download.. did i miss something or?
Short version
After Divisor was outted for RMTmanhood (which he worked very hard for) he decided to take all the stuff down from source forge![]()
do we know for sure if they're actually related incidents?
I suppose if you have a better and more reasonable explanation I am all for it.Originally Posted by Amele
ok, better question, is there any way to still get the parcer again or out of luck now
I have the source on my PC and could recompile it after an update, if nobody else does it. But I'm not sure if I have the right to publish it or not, although the licenses for most open source projects just ask you to name the original author.
