The game should be out today. Won't be out to get it until tomorrow, but I've heard from all over how awesome the game is.

I pre-ordered mine but...I thought it wasn't coming out til the 28th. ie, tomorrow. Is there a special early release that I was unawares of?

Same boat. Apparently it's getting good scores, but most praise I hear is from how well it controls+the action. Which is nice and all, but I think it was the gametrailers preview that said there's much less backtracking/exploration in this one. Hopefully it doesn't turn out to just be a Halo lite...

It ships today... best thing you can do is try to hit big stores like Best Buy or Fry's at 4-5pm and see if they have it... I found GTA Vice City at my local Fry's the day it was shipped but they only put it on the shelves at around 7pm.

It'll be everywhere tomorrow for sure though... and I didn't bother reserving, since Nintendo is probably shipping about a gazillion copies, and the EB I go to always has enough copies of everything.

Had since noon, been playing around with it. The controls are definitely great and the graphics are very inspiring.

Getting it tomorrow, my biggest fear is that it will feel too Halo-y and not enough like Metroid

8.5 from Gamespot. Its still a good score, but lets remember they also gave Zelda: TP an 8.8.

Its kinda funny, but he does essentially say the controls are so good that it makes the game easier. Thats kind of an asinine reason to deduct points.

Just got home with my copy of the game, going to dive right into it now.
