I thought the ring and the earring looked awesome as well. Then I saw their names, and figured that they are going to use Star Sapphire as an ingredient. +3 MND on earring is pwn, but an HQ of a synth that uses a Star Sapphire? So yeah, so much for that.

I didn't expect to come up with the cash soon anyway, but I have a few friends who do the smithing/goldsmithing and i'd trust them on the synths, oh and am I missing something or is star sapphire rare(er) then regular sapphires? O.o? i'm being serious b/c i don't know what a star sapphire is, i don't do smithing/goldsmithing >.> Cooking/Alch/Bone/Leather onry

Inclined to say no, there's a lot of gear with set bonuses that aren't complete - as well as grips.

We also still lack info on titles, quests and missions.

about 1 Star Sapphire a month will pop up on your local AH, on average.

What screams dragoon over bst on this gear, just wondering.

Last time I looked the "Tiger" type masks bst could wear, which is why I think it might be for bst.

Also the name "Breeder" seems more beastish than drg, however this is SE we're talking about.

Maybe the gear bonuses are latent effects if the wearer is heterosexual. :D
