Items, Grips, and Misc Info Gathering Thread

Hmm, still no word of all those smaller armor sets. Maybe they are ??? items from the highest tier of assaults?

Speculation fun time!!

There are five new "mini" armor sets with set bonuses:

Breeder's, Carline, Bowman's, Vampiric, and Caballero

There are five new assaults. Something tells me each set correlates to an Assault.

I get this ODD feeling that Vampiric comes from the Dracula Assault.

The others are not so obvious. Maybe Breeder's comes from the Megomak/Khaimaira since that seems right up his alley. Caballero is horse-riding, Carline is witch-y, and Bowman is an archer.

EDIT: Some fun on Wiki gives me the feeling Goldemar(Dvergetc) is linked with Caballero.

Anyway, that's all I got!

I did Sword Strap with my Haste/Haste/SVMarch/Desperate Blows/Hasso setup last night on the last 15% of THEFINALBOSSOFTOAU's life bar and it was absolutely fucking sick.

edit: some of us are still in the 30's because of JP-day waits and 6 day event cycles. I probably won't finish for 1-2 weeks, even spending all of my spare time on it.

it's not like sea where there's access to care about to justify skipping events.

it'd be less of a deal with say, RoZ where the storyline isn't as good as the reward, but for 90% of AU the storyline was the *only* reward, so it's kind of to find out major spoilers like that less than 48 hours after the patch that put them in is instituted.

It's sort of funny. People spoil the story for themselves and then express how they are unimpressed compared to CoP or something(it wasn't "grand enough" I think someone said). I would do the same too, if someone told the plot of a book(or game, or movie) instead of trying to read it.

I personally enjoyed CoP climax more than ToA, but both were really good. I'm kinda mad at the shitty BC arena tho...was hoping to fight alexander in a big light vortex or something, not salvage boss arena. And Nagmodala(sp) was a better villains in overall
