No he spent a lot of time shopping it, I can tell by the pixels.
Would have been faster to shop it than to farm it!Originally Posted by Ryko

Fricking hours of chocobo racing to make the 75 chocobucks for the dye. Thankfully I have a racing bird already. More thankfully you can start a race and walk away from the computer for five minutes.
Dogwood seems to be rarely sold at the AH. As soon as it was found out that it was needed for the bos, I bought every piece on the AH and now share it with LS people who want bos of their own.
Bos is a funny word.
It seems that Sword Strap is the red-headed stepchild of the KS30 grips, which just makes me further question whether these jobs deserved the changes Square gave them. Clearly it's shit for a 6-hit SAM, but most jobs will in fact get to 100% TP 3 percent faster with it, and if 2H weapon users were smart enough to realize that haste isn't just for 1H-ers, it would be roughly twice as good for TP phase DoT as Claymore or Pole, more than offsetting the fact that it does nothing for WS.

you'd be surprised how many 2handers are sporting some amount of store TP to drop their hits (darks especially) /sam is the new /nin.
I'm a perdu sickle user on drk, and I kinda rely on Rajas as is for 6 hit as /sam and 7 or w/e as /war. I haven't bothered doing any calculations to see what -3% delay would do in that regard, but it'd be cutting it close I think. Algol it'd probably work fine I guess, but then you have to consider that other grips actually do something for WS as well. Still some theorycrafting and testing to be done though.
Was just enough to knock me to 99% return on SAM;

sword strap is worth it if you're wearing 51 store TP already anyway.. otherwise you lose a swing on six hits. (on seven hits you lose a swing too, if you're not using any store tp and didn't merit it)Originally Posted by megabyte
what they *really* need is a store TP +5 grip so I can ditch my shoes.
although askar body and usukane body let you do that too :D
No shit. Let me guess, you are one of the retards I was referring to, who wouldn't consider using Sword Strap because it would knock you from 108% to 105% TP?Originally Posted by Yutuyu
no shit, maybe because the majority of 2handers on your server aren't looking at 8% tp excess?Originally Posted by Weeks
do you need me to hold your hand on which delays you can use a sword strap and which you can't? or are you one of the retards who slept through basic algebra?
look! I can do ad hominem too!
How much (exactly) would you need in +stp gear to overcome the delay drop for a hagun?

(11.1 * 1.50 ) = 16.6 * 6 = 99.6 (99.9 if TP per hit truncate to 2 places)
(11.1 * 1.51 ) = 16.7 * 6 = 100.2
Does that include capped STP merits? What would you need w/o them (just curious).
11.1 * 1.5 would be 16.65, so it would depend on if they rounded it up or down to 16.6 or 16.7. Assuming it get's rounded down you're right though, my bad.Originally Posted by Amele
Capped Store TP merits would be +10 STP, so you'd still need +15~16 in gear.Originally Posted by kareface
