/equip not working

Doesnt work anymore, anyone know the new syntax, or whats up?
Trying to equip Phantom Tathlum.

Edit: Can equip single items fine, but something has changed about stacked items.
Editedit: If your having problems equiping something, auto translate it, or look at the item in the inv screen, not the stat screen, it has to be spelled out exactlly like it appears.

Phantom Tathlum doesnt work anymore, but Phtm. Tathlum does.

Personally I always Autotranslate my macros (Save windower ones, ofc) so I never run into that problem, don't know if it went with the patch though

I noticed this too. /translate "N.abjuration: hd." works, but not /translate "Neptunal abjuration: head", as well

Yeah.. when I went out to test DRG WS on Lesser Colibri I had to fix a lot of my macros.

I was hitting them before I started just to make sure it was equipping everything and noticed it wasn't putting my Hecatomb Leggings on. I had to fix it to Hct. Leggings for it to work.

Pretty much anything that gets abbreviated in your gear list needs to get changed to the abbreviation in the macro. IE: Wyrm Armet +1 -> Wym. Armet +1, Drachen Brais +1 -> Drn. Brais +1, etc.

I didn't have a problem with my Angon macro and those come in stacks. It's just the whole abbreviation thing.

Yeah man, While I was tanking Ouryu I noticed that not all my resist and emnity gear was being swapped, I had to hit the macro several times before it actually swapped the gear :/

That's the spelling reformation. It used to be only one "s" till a few years ago.


I changed all my macros to autotranslate when they got broken by switching FFXI's language, now they work no matter what language I use.
