I prolly missed it somewhere in the 10 different threads but anyone find the quest for the hats?

No quest that I know of (except maybe to get HQ). All the materials are normal and Qiqirn Hat is already showing on AH.

Wait so the new beastmen hats are just straight synths without a little prequest / payment like the first set? Also these are AHable? I mean hell the lamia one, which is the one I am after, costs a whole like 20k to synth if the mats up top are right, unless im missing something.

Ohshi- you were telling the truth, had to see it to believe it. Can't wait to get my lamia hat tomorrow, Wonder how much the mat's will jump in price haha

I'm still waiting for Marid Hair to pop up on AH so I can make Troll and Mamool.

Aside from finding the materials, these are alot cheaper than the originals due to the lack of a cutting needed.

I'm testing Mamool Ja Helm at the moment, but it seems to be Beastmen Strongholds.

Mamool Ja Staging Point (Bhaflao Thickets): Not in effect
Mamook: Latent is working

Heading to Arrapago Reef now.

Arrapago Reef: Latent is in effect.

So it seems it works just like the ~banes in that they only work in Mamook, Halvung and Arrapago Reef.

I spent like.. 3 hours killing Qiqirn with my Th3 and didn't get jack. Went out to Mamool Staging Point, walked up to a Skoffin & stole a Cape first try.. was kinda irritating, lol. On another note though, Almonds drop from the Qiqirn that used to drop the Capes.. did SE Ninja change something again?

Apparently, out of all the damn Qiqirn, the only ones that drop the Capes are the Archaeologists in Aydeewa and the Qiqirn THFs in Havlung. According to Wiki there's only 1 spawn for the THF mob, and while there are many for the Archs, there annoying as hell to fight and you cant really solo them(since they purposely run around and link every Qiqirn in sight).
