Dex = acc Test

As observed by the sam seigan/hasso update. It only effect ranged attacks if you use a staff or such 2handed weapon for the stats to be effected. So yes, it effect rangers in and anyone that's willing to use 2h weapons.

Oh wait forgot the main thing. The atk and accu isn't rng atk and rng accu so yea. It don't effect rng's main role of dmg.

I edited. I doubt it's rng atk and rng accu also. But it shouldn't be hard to test, it's just that bow isn't in the class of 2h, and I doubt this 2h buff will effect ranged attacks/accuracy. Sorry

I was just out meriting as WAR/NIN with Fortitude Axe. Had a COR doing Fighter's and Rogue's Roll and I ate Coeurl Subs, parsed 95% accuracy. I always wanted a 2H buff but I think SE went a little overboard this time.

No Gaxe merits btw.

I do not know if this was tested already but i see alot of post about if the acc from dex is natural dex or just gear added. so i tried a small test. tell my if i am wrong but

Dagger Skill 230 capped
Great Katana skill 228 (4 merit upgrades)

Mob cons DC normal with Dagger only equiped
Mob cons DC low evasion with +27 accuracy
Mob cons DC normal with +26 Accuracy

equip GK Mob cons DC low evasion
Mob cons DC low evasion with -5 Dex from Pallas bracelets

which i think means gkt is more then 32 acc @ 228 then dagger @ 230skill

This would mean that now certain races are going to be able to play jobs at diff levels, a Mithra will be able to have alot more acc then say an elvaan or taru. Food for thought, it's late my info could be old or totlaly wrong lol

So THF is seriously just screwed now?

I understand and agree that 2 handers needed a boost. But 1dex=1acc, they should be able to hit 90% acc easily on vt/it mobs without sushi or madrigal.

This leaves THF's either stuck gimping a PT by having a BRD cast madrigal so they can keep up acc wise and eat meat, or by having to eat sushi to keep up acc.

I geuss this perma-bans THF to 3THF NIN BRD Healer PT's
