    Skewer is very sexy now. Although it doesn't beat Penta, it's gotten a really good jump up in damage.

    I didn't get to play around with Lesser Colibri much as there were 10+ SAM/WAR/DRG/DRK out and about most areas, but I did do enough to see the difference.

    Not gonna bother with TP on them cause sometimes I completely forgot what it was the second after using it. >>;

    These were all done on DRG/WHM. It's been a bit since I've gone out and soloed on them, but from what I remember that's a nice jump in damage. I've never used Skewer on them, so I honestly don't know how much of an improvement it's gotten comparatively, but I can say it's gotten a -really- nice boost.

    My Attack on DRG now breaks 400 in my TP setup with no buffs. I believe before I had around 392 Attack or something? I now sit around 414 I think. I changed jobs to see how much Attack I have on my DRK and don't feel like switching gear around again, lol. My pimp ass DRG just got more pimpier? I want a BRD, NOW!

    I really can't wait to try this out in EXP or on an HNM since two handers get even more of a bonus against higher level/defense mobs. loldrg at an HNM...

    Spinning Slash got a boost, cant say what/how but I have to say WS average with it is ~1000 ranging from 800-1800

    Howling Fist doesn't stun, lol. I used it 10 times and not one stunned, this was on Colibri, Attercops, and Tigers.

    However DK's damage on PUP went from 250-300ish to 450+ on /NIN, 500+ with /WAR, and streching 550+ with Zerk up.

    I still need totry both at 300%, but too busy with testing my Puppet out over my own damage.

    It seems like Spinning Slash is a forced crit. My average damage (out of at least 30 WSes on Lesser Colibri) was 1,122, whereas when I tried DRK/THF before duoing with a DRG friend, it was still doing around 1,100. And since people are questioning SA's effect on Gekko, that might be what they did - force crit WSes for 2-handers?

    Little bit of testing I have done on Emp Arrow. Might suggest it's good on higher def mobs, gonna test it out this weekend on Kirin.

    Basically naked rng/whm on mandies at mea crag.

    EDIT: Yes, I'm selfish and specifically asked about the two WSs that most apply to me.

    Hm, my Detonator experience was different.

    We went to Greater Colibri camp. BRD was singing 2 March and I had no food due to broken AH so I basically had no Attack bonuses.

    Slug Shot: ~750
    Detonator @100: ~600
    Detonator @200: ~750
    Detonator @300: ~900

    But an important thing to note is that Detonator has always been extremely accurate. In fact, we were there over 2 hours and I didn't miss a single Detonator whereas Slug is kinda sketchy with no food. Thus, it seems like Slug and Detonator are now equal partners at least for a COR, depending on situational decisions, e.g.
    @100: Slug if you're comfortable with Acc via Sharpshot/Marital Gun/sushi
    @200: Indistinguishable.
    @300: Detonator for superior dmg.

    Closing Fusion after Gekko is also visually satisfying. :D

    Anyone test if Sword Strap subtracts from "true" delay or is just "fake haste" like hasso/desperate blows? I just got one off ODS

    EDIT: Tested it out, 97 TP w/ Sword Strap, 101 TP w/o it. Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame

    any word on yuki/gekko/kasha WSC mods? (still 75%?) heard a rumor that it might've kicked down to 60% and I'm seeking confirmation one way or the other.

    As far as I can tell, their still 75% STR mods, but the ftps at 100,200, and 300 tp are now 2.5, 3, and 3.25.

    so hagun is still a +0.5 fTP for these, but the base is higher so the overall % increase is a little less.

    awesome :D hagun is still good but is no longer so much better as to be untouchable by other gkts.

    Did a birds merit pt today. With full Heca (minus legs, Conte pants) on Wheeling Thrusts. I was hitting 1177 every time, Angon or not, dia or not, 1177 for 1-hit. I double attacked once and did 1812. (80+64 STR on WS gear for Wheeling)

    While they didn't change the text of wheeling that I can recall, it's been effected greatly by the 2h change. I used to hit 610s to 790s on Greater Collibris.

    Pentas were kind've across the board (Full heca for Pentas), depending on hits. Most of mine were 4/5 hits. Ranging from 1400 with no buffs/songs to 2800 with Berserk/angon/2minuet.

    Skewer's best was 1800ish with a 16TP return (2 hits double attacked) It's clear that skewer in merits isn't as good as penta unless you double attack 2 hits. And if you crit only 2 or less hits, even Wheeling seemed better, as some Skewers were in the 900ish range.

    Lowest I saw on penta was 1022, but that was a 16% return (3 hits)

    My guess, however, is that Skewer will be better for HNM, and that Penta will be lower damage/acc on things like Kirin/JoL. However with Wheeling's boost, it may be nice to see the damage from that.

    Oh, and Randomly hit an 831 Jump in that party. My best yet on birds.

    Some information from the last two exp PTs:

    1) I still think that DA hits have the 1.0 ftp modifier. I had multiple instances where I DA'd on a Kaiten, but missed the first swing, and ended up getting 1 TP return for ~400 damage. Before the patch I was also doing ~400 damage on those 1hit swings.

    2) I've been able to reach a cap on Kaiten's WS damage, of 1878 when my attack is high enough. This is using an 88 base damage weapon with 80+64 STR during the WS. I think this could be helpful towards figuring out how this WS equation may have changed?

    can confirm this,happened 2-3 times in a xp pty i had aswell
