With the update, what does ice staff bring to the blm?

I have read for melee using a 2handed weapon gives additional boost(attack/accuarcy). Does using a staff for mages give anything in return?

An example would be ice staff. Does it bring 1 int = 1 mab?

Int factors into the base damage for spells, but not in the same way that STR and DEX play around with melee stats.

Fenrir seemed stronger on Lesser Colibri earlier. Although I wasn't exactly parsing them pre-update, so I couldn't say for sure. 1.5k and 1.6k Eclipse Bite is higher than any I remember though.

I've got ~30 more Attack as SMN, which is quite nice and makes it slightly less LOL versus EPs while eating cheap Meat.

Unless you have to draw your weapon to obtain a "1INT = 1MAB" bonus, then it doesn't exist. I've been killing Marids for a while and they're taking the same damage as before roughly.

I have purchased a staff strap. It could be my imagination, it seems I am doing a bit more damage, or I must have not being paying attention to my nukes as often.

I'm not sure if the number of nukes just didnt resist as much but I do seem to get more damage. I did not test it without the strap, just didnt test it out after the patch.

I solo Ebony pudding a lot. Normally my nukes for Tornado 2 is 1616 on most weathers. Now my nukes increased to around 1630.

I did not add any merits to wind nor ate any food. Could it be there is a hidden trait?

Wonder if it also applies to mnd spells.

Bugard Strap+1 seems like it would be the only thing to add dmg to me.. Pretty sure the update did nothing for mab

So take the thing off and see if you suddenly do less damage.

i noticed this yesterday too >_> i usually kill puddings (on neutral days with neutral weather) with thunder4/blizzard4/freeze2/aspir/drain, but now i have to cast aspir sooner, because freeze2 kills it >_>. Either something happened to me (i havent changed gear except for the new staff strap), or the pudding's HP was reduced.

Well, I did test it out w/o the strap. It seems the pudding int must be lowered. My spells are a bit strong than before.
