Looks to me like the officer knows a little too much about secret gay bathroom stall behavior.

HAHA good point, I never thought of that.
I heard on the news that the officer was undercover trying to catch the guys doing stuff in the bathrooms.

Ouch lol. I wonder what the officer's boss REALLY thinks of him.

Certainly it's not, but perhaps if society was more accepting, this Senator wouldn't be so mentally fucked up, and have to hide his sexuality, compensating so severely by being outspokenly anti-gay, all the while hating himself for being gay, and still needing the physical contact of another man.

He goes where he can to get it, just let the guy get his rocks off.

How can you say this when there is an openly gay senator in Utah? In my opinion, he made his bed about being ultra conservative/anti-gay and is now having to lay in it.

The Utah senator probably grew up in a unique situation, with loving parents, supportive social structure, and acceptance. Can't make correlations like that just because one person does it, everyone can.

You also, as someone who takes part in legislating for the people of the United States, can't adopt a steadfast anti-gay policy one day, then barge into an airport bathroom looking to solicit males for sex the next. Who the fuck cares if he's tortured, downtrodden, broken down, whatever. His job is not to hypocracize, his job is to represent the people. He failed at that, the consequences need to reflect that failure. If he can't deal with his homosexuality in a healthy way, one that doesn't involve hate speak toward millions of gay Americans, he needs to get the fuck out of office and they need to put someone in place of him who can do their job effectively without bullshitting the rest of us.

Oh I agree with you, he's slime for the way he's choosing to handle his issues, and it's hilarious the defense he's attempting to use. I'm just saying he's not the only one who gets busted in situations like this, and the Police should be focusing on more important issues.

Alright, sorry. Sounded like you were trying to buy him some sympathy, sorry for getting defensive.

No worries <grin> I should've prefaced my comment with condemnation for the hypocritical waste of space that he is.

    Hope things're cleared up now.

Holy shit, we just talked about this RIGHT NOW in my Mental Health nursing course. Pretty bizzaire.

Bolded: Depends. If the people of Idaho don't like/accept homosexuality, then he was doing a fine job of representing their views in his statement. Now if you are only concerned about his own personal conduct, then yes, he is a hypocrite.

EDIT: You should of heard a caller yesterday trying to explain to Sean Hannity how to tell if there is a "lot lizard" at the next truck-stop. Comedy gold!
