To be perfectly honest, chaining indefinitely in Toau has always been 100% realistic with any non-retard party in a reasonable camp (with the possible exception of trolls). Don't use that as a standard of comparison, because I've been in plenty of parties with 2-handed weapon users prepatch, and have never experienced problems with breaking chain or ludicrously slow pacing unless there's high competition for mobs and/or idiots in my PT not doing their jobs properly. I'm speaking from experience as both lolWHM and BRD. High chains aren't an indicator of anything other than a pulse and minimal common sense.
Breaking chains because you kill too fast is an indicator of change; that has never happened to me in any party that included a 2h user prepatch.
Off topic: what was the point of buffing the efficacy of COR rolls? Were they especially weak before this update? I'm not complaining; they don't replace my BRD in any setting since rolls and songs are stackable. I just don't understand why they needed to be improved when they were already capable of doing things for parties that BRDs cannot do through songs.
