at 90% the elms popped. rdm diaga half of them other half went after the pld as he flashed. We wiped raised back up (at least tractor worked) the elms didn't depop though until the sam tried to see how much hp they had (they depopped and he got killed from cerb)
restarted again about 10 percent in he did gate of hades and then the elms popped again and we wiped again.
we had tried to move cerb a bit but his draw in prevented that.
Do cerb has regen when your party wipes?
Because if he doesn't, then the whole elemental fiasco can pretty much be recoverable if he doesn't draw everyone in
Yes he regensOriginally Posted by Zilong
Cleared Cerberus with 6: NIN/WAR DRK/SAM WAR/NIN RDM/WHM(me) RDM/DRK WHM/BLM.
I ate Tacos, full buffs + Terra staff and proceeded to diaga, banishga all the elementals. Popped without aggro, needed to attack them to get them to follow me. Not hard getting all of them to go after you. I didn't die, full hp all the way till they depopped. Some lost hate halfway and killed the WHM though, but no wipe. DRK and other RDM/DRK kept GoH stunned.
Cleared Hydra with 5: NIN/WAR DRK/SAM, RDM/WHM x 2, WHM/BLM
Nothing special about this one. Got Bowman's Ledelsen's off the chest...surprise surprise.
So I guess the sets must be split between assaults, since Bowman head was confirmed to come from Khimaira and now you guys got the feet from Hydra.
Hmmm I thought they're coming from the same asault
Bowman's set can be good if the ratk amount is 10+
Has anyone seen ??? head dropped from hydra or cerberus assault?
Trio'd Bloody Rondo with sam/war sam/drg rdm/whm. SAMs 2 houred so that skews things a tad. He didn't use many TP moves though. Popped out a curse Doppleganger somewhere in the middle of the fight (who was easy to one hit with Tachi Gekko). Didn't use doom or any charm moves though so it seems we got lucky.
EDIT: He has quite a bit of HP, if I had to guess he has between 15,000 - 25,000.
Exactly how long did this take? You must've gotten extremely lucky, because I was damned and bat'd three times each in a single run!Originally Posted by Yutuyu

Last night we came up with a pretty good plan I think for him though and due to bad luck we wiped with him at 4%.
Our setup was NIN, NIN, BRD, WHM, WAR, BLM
NE of Cerb is a tunnel so at the start of fight the mages piled in to that tunnel. The melee did their best to drag him towards that tunnel. So the fight went on and then the elems popped but they actually didn't aggro anyone since ninjitsu is safe to cast around elems and so is bard singing. There's about 3 that could potentially aggro if they pathed close enough to the mages so the WAR pulled the 3 that were closest to Cerb 1 at a time and the BLM dealt with them rather easily. We were able to bring him down to like 4% and DoT spells brought him to 1% when 5 of the 6 of us were down.
What killed you if it wasn't the elementals? Cerb is weaksauce just like Khim and Hydra. Except GoH is weaker and less dangerous than Fulmination/Nerve Gas. He hits harder but it's managable. Change a NIN to a MNK maybe. MNK is pwn on these Assault versions, same reason they own it Salvage. Good damage, low TP output to the mob, and high HP/VIT/counter etc.Originally Posted by Missnasty
Just bad luck. I ran out of MP near the end due to the BRD dying getting up and getting AoE killed again. NINs lost shadows at inopportune times and didn't get cures in time. Like I said at the start of my post, we just had some bad luck but I'm pretty sure this strat is a good one.Originally Posted by Wizerd
I think we did get lucky, no charms, he just used damage/drain TP moves. It didn't take long at all to kill him though. Probably 15-20 weapon skills (which were about 1000 each) plus DoTs and some meleeing did him in. Both sams started out with TP & Med fresh, and I think I only meditated once or twice during the fight. Meikyo gets us 3 weapon skills and meditate got us around 2 each. So we were able to pop out WSes fairly quickly.Originally Posted by Almalexia
I wonder if the zerg approach would work on Cerb with everyone using 2 hours. Something like rdm/drk, brd, (4 meeles, sams, kraken drk, monk, ect). Would it be possible for 3 sams and a kraken drk to take him out in 30 secs?
zerg'd it with 3 mnk/nin, brd rdm/drk whm.
SV minute/march, phalanx2 on the mnks (for blaze spikes), chainspell stun, hundred fists x3.
2Hs wore of around 40%, but he dropped fast even after that really, 1 GoH went through, thats it.
ele's all popped at 100% too.. soon as we engaged-.- but they were np.
Honestly if as long as you stun GoH this is not difficult..
Did Dracula last night, and repeated it again today for others. First time we did it he spawned dopplegangers 3 times. Today we had 6 dopplegangers total. The first one today was at about 95 percent, was his first TP move.
Doppleganger is not a "uses at 50 percent" move, every single time he spawned a clone it was immediately after he used "Nesferatu's Kiss". I'm guessing people who are seeing it only once are just getting lucky missing that tp move (lucky might not be the right word here since the clones are the least annoying tp move, at least it was for us.)
Speaking of luck, we beat King Goldemar before dracula tonight and he used that aoe Def-down move only once. Was still hectic though even without that, war/nin blu/nin blu/nin brd/whm rdm/whm rdm/whm.
We did King Goldemar again today with 5. PLD/NIN is really very useful on him, and the max any of his -Aga IIIs did was about 600. We went with SMN, RDM, BRD, PLD/NIN, MNK/NIN. I killed weapons with the help of Predator Claws and Haste/Elegy, as they came active. Kept my hate low until all 5 were down. Around 50% on Goldemar was left when weapons were all down, and his defense seemed to drop severely. We owned the rest in about 3min total, if that. He seems to gain a couple new TP moves after all the weapons are killed, Necro-[enter suffix here] moves.Originally Posted by Mertron

ffxiclopedia seems to lack entries on Vampyrs and Drevgr... could someone with info on them fill that in?
Just finished Lebros. Popped eles right at the start but pretty easy to just -ga them with 2 BLMs.
