Registry Edits for Widescreen

I know this topic has been covered a lot, but I'm just curious what would look best on my 20" wide screen monitor. I'm running it on 1680x1050. I heard that doubling the values will give good results. I also need to know how to convert 3360x2100 (1680x1050x2) into hexadecimal values. So, what would be the best resolution, and what are the values I need to put into 003 and 004. Sorry if I didn't search hard enough. Thanks in advance.

There's a toggle for hex/decimal values in regedit.

Could use the calculator in windows if you don't know how to change the base type in regedit.

Type the Width you would like in Calculator Scientific Mode in Decimal Form
Then click the Hex Radio Button.

Do that for both the width and height you want FFXI to be displayed at then open regedit
Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\PlayOnlineUS\FinalFant asyXI

Change the String Values of 1 and 2 for the Screen Resolution
Change the String Values of 3 and 4 for the Background Resolution.
