RDM/DRK and stun (post update)

RDM/DRK 210 dark skill, Jupiter staff: all 3 stuns I casted on Khimaira were resisted

before update: I casted in 200skill and never used jupiter staff, never was resisted.

this is normal and and has happened before many times on the 40+ khi we have killed

I've killed over 30 khimairas and not once have I been resisted on stun with only 200 skill and not using a thunder/jupiter staff

being resisted is defiantly not normal

yes but, my first stun (3rd stun cast on it) was outright resisted, unless it's building stun resist in 3 cast now (which it definately wasn't before)

we've had khimairas stuned alot more then this one that never resisted so, something is different now.

Also forgot to add this: wings never went down the whole fight, that's never happened for us before

i wont get skerd until u get resisted on DL. Ive had my regular RDMs get resited on the same mob, not a surprise honestly.

I've gotten resisted before on Cerb, khim, and even tiamat. It happens, maybe one of your blms was nuking thunder or something and it often occures at the worst time. It is my understanding that all thunder base moves will build stun resiistance on mobs who are sensitive to such things.

Murphy's law, if it can go wrong it will. Just hope you and your fellow team mates are able to recover. If you are bothered by it maybe try to stack on int and dark magic skill. Maybe even magic accuracy.

just killed khimaira yet again and never ever i got my stun resist as rdm/drk , and i wear all fast cast and haste gear .

This isn't new, hasn't happened to my LS but another LS that manaburns everything has had it happened to them a few times.

Just killed it and had no problems with stun (told our PLD to not use shield bash though)

Also couldnt get his wings down and he spammed Tourbillion till he died, very annoying..

that's my thinking. even if it procs on 1/20 hits, there's a decent chance that someone's hit it a few times. a noob question: i know khimeria builds resistance fast to elements, but does he build resistance to types of magic too? is it possible someone was spamming bio or drain increasing his dark magic resistance? i've only fought him twice and once i was made to come brd/blm (can't stand not having cures! GAH!) so i'm not entirely sure about his magic resistance, but it seems vaguely logical.

Pretty sure stun is bound to the 95% acc rule too.

I've had stun resisted by those silly fire elementals in sky... twice.
