I didn't level MNK for the magical purpose of being the best DD, I levelled MNK because when I started played in oct 2003, MNK looked like the coolest of the starting jobs. Back then people didn't even realize MNK was a viable job, that took almost two years to happen for the majority. There's a difference between playing the job you wanted to play and random retards that bashed on two-handers to make themselves feel big for being me-too WARs/MNKs whatevers. Some people actually base their judgment on player skill and never gave a damn what job they were.
Comments like "haha now you'll pay for all the imaginary things you did to us" and "you didn't care then!" are so full of shit its unbelievable. What the hell were people supposed to do exactly, send you daily letters of apology because SE's fSTR calculation happened to favor their job over yours?
We (as in one-hander jobs) didn't make the game unbalanced, you fucking morons. If you run into an inanimate tree in a park, do you seethe in rage for years until it gets cut by park services and then go gloat over it? Really?
