Sure, they ended up winning by 12.
They were also up by 5 with a minute left with FAU having the ball.

Lol BCS I know, but the BCS computer rankings (which do not factor in bias/tradition) have SFU ahead of Ohio State in 5/6 rankings. Computer rankings have Ohio State at 5. The Harris and USA today polls is what drives them up to 1st. Depsite the close FA game, they've beat a tough SEC team on the road, and a damn good top 10 WVU team. Ohio State has beat...Washington! Im not tooting SFUs horn, I don't expect them to get through the rest of the season undefeated. Same for Ohio State. I just feel they are getting shafted right now.Originally Posted by Plow

Interesting to see where they go from here.
It's a short matter of time before Callahan is gone. University Chancellor is not going fire football coaches as it really isn't his job. But put a new interm A.D. in there and heads are rolling.
I was under the impression that he just signed a new multi-year extension, and therefore won't be fired - they'll just eliminate anyone else they can.Originally Posted by skurlover
They should convince Osborne to move on over from A.D. to head coach. I'd say it is pretty safe to say looking back that it was the coach more so than the program w/ Osborne in the late 80s/early 90s.Originally Posted by skurlover
I mean I personally like Callahan, but I don't honestly think he will make it to the end of his contract. The Huskers were a powerhouse, hands down, settling for mediocrity isn't their cup of tea. Hopefully he can complete the turn around of the team and get that defense back to where its supposed to be, back to being the lights out, shut 'em down, black shirts.
Tom Osborne taking over a interim AD for the Huskers.
Wow.

"It's worth pointing out that we're 4-3. We've won more than we've lost," he said. "There are other programs -- some pretty good programs -- that haven't won more than one game. But we'd like the intensity level to pick up to what we're accustomed to."
Notre Dame? lol
