Lol BCS I know, but the BCS computer rankings (which do not factor in bias/tradition) have SFU ahead of Ohio State in 5/6 rankings. Computer rankings have Ohio State at 5. The Harris and USA today polls is what drives them up to 1st. Depsite the close FA game, they've beat a tough SEC team on the road, and a damn good top 10 WVU team. Ohio State has beat...Washington! Im not tooting SFUs horn, I don't expect them to get through the rest of the season undefeated. Same for Ohio State. I just feel they are getting shafted right now.

Yeah I just read that also. I kind of figured that heads were going to roll in Lincoln if they continued losing. But damn, OK state layed the smack down. Callahan dodged the bullet....... this time.

I was under the impression that he just signed a new multi-year extension, and therefore won't be fired - they'll just eliminate anyone else they can.

They should convince Osborne to move on over from A.D. to head coach. I'd say it is pretty safe to say looking back that it was the coach more so than the program w/ Osborne in the late 80s/early 90s.

I mean I personally like Callahan, but I don't honestly think he will make it to the end of his contract. The Huskers were a powerhouse, hands down, settling for mediocrity isn't their cup of tea. Hopefully he can complete the turn around of the team and get that defense back to where its supposed to be, back to being the lights out, shut 'em down, black shirts.
