Man oh man. Tough TOUGH loss for AU.. they had their shots, but man oh man. That was an epic finish.
What the hell. Whhhyyyyy?? XD
Well, today wasn't exactly a good game for your argument. A 5 point win against and unranked 4-3 CU doesn't quite make them seem #1 material. Not only that but it should have been a 2 point win (but our kicker sucks) and could have gone the other way fairly easily if a few plays ended differently.Originally Posted by Plow

Yeah, I wouldn't say they deserve #1, especially not after today. I was just tossing that in there cuz yeah, USC could play that exact schedule and have half the points scored and as long as they won em all probably be #1.Originally Posted by Ishido

This week's games:
South Florida (-5) at Connecticut
Kansas (+2.5) at Texas A&M
USC (+3) at Oregon
Michigan State (-3) at Iowa
Georgia (+8.5) at Florida
Nebraska (+21) at Texas
South Carolina (+3) at Tennessee
West Virginia (-6.5) at Rutgers
California (+3) at Arizona State
Ohio State (-4) at Penn State (points tiebreaker game)
Eight of the ten games are less than a touchdown spread, five a field goal or less. Tough week.
Yeah, this week is gonna suck.
The fact that a vast majority of road teams on that list are the ranked team will make this week hell.
No joke. UConn could win, Oregon should win, Florida should win, TX should win, Tennessee should win.. Rutgers could win, AZ State should win.. it's all gonna be rough because the teams playing against the ones that should win could also win. >< I've messed with my picks about 5 times this week.Originally Posted by Ryany

Rofl. Well.. if they play offense like they did against Vandy, I'm not sure how they can win. >.> Tennessee can be gashed to hell though with the passing game.. but again.. where is that with SC? D:
Wow. BC just fucking worked over VTech. Down 10-0 with 2:30 left - TD drive down the field, then onside kick recover, then TD#2 with 11 seconds left for the 14-10 win, holding onto their #2 ranking.
HAHAHAHA
How does that saying go???
Prevent Defense prevents you from winning games!
I was fairly neutral for who I wanted to win this game, but as a football fan in general, VT deserved to lose that game upon how they played the next to last BC drive. (not the winning drive) IMO you shouldn't be playing prevent defense in a 2 possession game unless there is less than 1 minute left. VT shut down BC all night....why change the defense?
I'm anticipating a new Vtech shooter for the "hands team" dude that totally flubbed that onside kick.
Holy fucking shit. I turned the channel with about 3 minutes left with them down 10 because they'd been shut down ALL night. I didn't bother wanting to watch anymore so I switched back to the World Series. I just flicked back and saw the score.. what the fuck, seriously. That was insane. A #2 team survived, finally.
