There is like maybe 5 memorable song on Gurren Laggen OST for me (added them to my play list after listening the OST 4 times). RM had something like 15 songs that I would listen over and over. Actually, 30/50ish song made it to my playlist, but 15 imo were really awesome and make me nostalgic every time I listen to them.

-2nd ending theme
-intro song

For the rest, there is a lot of rap and metal that I don't like, and many soft song that have simple melody. Some of them works well as ambiance song, but they are kinda boring/slow if you listen to them without the anime

I know it's a matter of taste, but meh, unless you have a strong hate for classical music, I don't see how you can not like Rozen Maiden OST. The music was really well done for the most part. If you havent listened it in a while, maybe you should give it a try and check the song I mentioned ;x

Intro sound nothing like ending, so out of the 6 songs, you could say there is only 2 models.
Never listened any Ali project song beside those 3, so idc if they sound the same. Not that "sounding the same" matter for me when it come to liking music. If I liked the first track, I should like the 2nd as well.

they are planning a related series in two years. The whole transcript should be out soon in a normal (read: not 2ch) publication.

I'm not sure what they mean by related, but I seriously doubt it could match the first season <_<. I dont see how thing could get bigger

I wouldn't mind seeing the story of lord genome and his friends in their old battle. Im not sure what it could be thats not from the past.

I remember that when Simon was fighting Lord Genome, he said that there was one like him who had fought as hard previously.

I think Genome was talking about himself... and I think he got also got trapped in whole alternate universe thing, but found a crack (between the 10th and 11th dimensions) and escaped. I also think at the end, all those people that are cheering them on are Spiral Knights that were trapped.

I played it for a little bit. It's kinda like rewatching the whole series again, except that you control the fights now. You actually get to do the "drilling motion" when you do your special moves! I love it.

Haven't found the OVA release that comes with the game though ;o
