I like how all the old-fashioned spoiler tiny-texts in the early pages of this thread have been enlarged to massive proportions thanks to the vbulletin move.

Plus it seems people are confused about Gurren Parallel. It's not supposed to be about the animation; it's about the music. Hate on the 'my trip to Australia' travelogue that is the newest video but as a collection this DVD is going to be on my preorder list for certain.

I have the song, I can listen to it any time I want. The point of PW was to have the music with appropriately awesome videos. Libera Me, being the MOST awesome and epic of the series' songs, should have the MOST awesome and epic video. Worst yet, they made us wait 2 months for some stock footage and some asshole running around. IIrc, in the trailer for PW, when they previewed Libera Me, they showed a completely different sample of video.

In any case, This. Is. Bullshit.

Fucking awesome, but the 2nd half made me really sad. It was like a much shorter, and MUCH more satisfying and congruous Star Wars Episode 1-3.

Also, it didn't have an emo, angsty, whiny, unlikable twat in it.
