Actually, if you look at the entrance to each Chariot room you'll notice the same symbol of the Astral Candescence but each with a different glowing marker, and the same symbol appears at Nyzul Isle with yet another marker highlighted. This could indicate the subtle relationship they all have together.
I am really curious if anyone with a Nyzul armor set has tried, but I would think that was more likely done and done again from the people who first got the weapons. I'm sticking to the Salvage Armor set theory from my points above, along with the fact no one has finished a set yet: enhancing/doubles the Set bonus or unlocks some hidden trait based on the name of the weapon along with a general buff (or both). Enhancing Set bonus would attempt to solve the Dynamis-relic problem of weapons being generally unattractive to mages...
The only other thing that I could thing of (if this theory ends up failing and for the sake of keeping new ideas going) is that post-ToAU they will have a BC unlocked by collecting the Nyzul Isle runic key, and 4 key items from the Salvage Areas (similar to the Promyvion silvers), to finalize the relationship they have (probably some crazy alliance-battle vs. Alexander, since we already have Einherjar for Odin) and only then would we be able to see what our weapons do.
