All assaults complete = free portal use?

The following adjustments have been made to Assault:

- Five new missions are now available for players with the rank of First Lieutenant.

- Players who have completed every Assault mission (i.e. the missions appear on the “Complete” list) will be rewarded with an extra Imperial Army I.D. tag to be held in reserve for them at the Commissions Agency.

That only mentions the extra ID tag storage, which I'm far less interested in then free runic portal passes

Now I need to find the time to actually finish the FL quest, then round up people to do the 5 new assaults to see what happens...

Damn it would suck if you have to do all of the assaults.

Also, it seems like a mistranslation that you need to to complete all 50 assaults to get the extra tag. From what I can find on his blog, you get promoted to captain by completing all 5 T10 assaults. And with Captain rank, you get free runic portal passes, as well as an extra ID tag slot.

Although I suppose its possible he beat all the other 45 Assaults before.

I'm betting that he beat all other assaults before.

Got lucky last night and did 2 FL now I am at 48/51. Its really hard to find anyone thats FL rank otherwise I would of done the last 3 FL I needed by now. Might find out in a couple weeks due to my bad luck with finding people with high ranks to do them.

Didn't they say "The Last Chapter of CoP" when they released the Promathia battle? I can't recall, and the ending leaves it completly open to another Apocaplyse Nigh type thing.

I think somewhere down the road, we may just end up returning to Aht Urghan, for reasons other than Assaults, Salvage, Merits, Besieged, and uh... other stuff..

I don't think they'll make anything like that if it requires the crown to be equipped because some dumbass WILL drop it and won't be able to get it back. I can see it being if you wear it then free runic portal access though.

Yep. That was a good 8+ months before AN. In fact, if we assume that there will be an update (besides the one on 9/11) between now and WotG, then it would be similar that both AN-style quests were released right before the next expansion.

thats why i said just throwing it out, since no one could figure out for sure how to get free use permit and there nother tread about people trying to find if crow has hidden stat. and it may just be that it says Captain cause he was captain at the time. Cause when you visit the IS > Coin NPC he also says along lines "I see your currently (insert rank here) this entitles you to XXXX coin" or somthing along the lines. no matter what rank you are he says I see you this rank but that doesn't mean anything as far as getting coins.

Yes, but there's a totally different message in the .dats when it does <insert rank here>. Something like <PFC/PSC/SP/LC/C/S/SM/CS/SL/FL> or <prompt:special item><etc>, not straight text >.>
