This is definetly an endurance fight - if you have ppl with mutliple jobs focus on beeing mage heavy.

If nothing else I can say this was the prettiest fight I've ever been in. Every single move that Alex did was nothing short of breath-taking and then with the awesome spectacle that was Divine Judgement, it was just a pure light show that was just amazing to behold. I'd do the fight again just for the lights

I think 44 had nigh perfect mission difficulty, kind of like 8-4 did. It's not impossible for your average, non-retarded players... and only easy for people who use stuff like CS Stun and whatever perfect jobs.

Didn't he get up and kinda grin at the end of that cutscene though? It seemed to me like he was going to make a comeback.

y'all needed CS stun? (I mean, we had our rdm on /drk but we only ended up using mijin at the end.) I suppose CS stun going into the 10% mark might've let us finish it off without spending 5 minutes recovering.

My group found Raubahn to be much harder than Alexander, just because of the sheer amount of damage he can do quickly. Having a PLD tank from a distance helped a ton, so that only the tank is hit by the 2-Hour, ours survived both times, as well as only taking the AOE damage. That way, you can just spam cures on the tank without having to actually worry about taking excess damage. Also, keeping Rampart available for the 2 hour helped.

Weird, we completely destroyed Raubahn. Nobody ever even went out of white I don't think. Actually I don't think he ever even 2 houred.

if he gets an azure lore eyes on me off, he can do ~1400 in one shot (through shadows) which can suck for your tank depending on what hp he has at the time.

thats the only issue we had with him and we circumvented it on life #3 with a brief sleep.

Life 3 was the easiest for us. he was immune to melee so we Burst II > Sleep > Freeze II > Sleep > Thundaga III > Sleep > Burst II > Dead

yeah. we took 1400 on life 2. life three was pretty easy since we split our damage and he wasn't immune, which let us basically zerg him down. rdm just put a sleep in when he saw azure lore trigger and we just stopped attack for 30 seconds before we finished him off.

    Re: ToAU44

1/3 win was very close to defeat

    Rdm/whm: Riddik
    Rdm/brd 988mp (me)
    Pld/war: Naix
    Drk/nin: Seig
    War/nin: Dius
    Rng/nin: Enego

    Few pointers:

Enter, Pro/Shell/Haste/Refresh Pld and start fight within 20secs or so, buff as fight goes on. Do not wait to buff then rest mp before engaging.

Need mixed damage on Blu 1st and 2nd forms. We used dd ranger 1st, Melee 2nd.

SleepII Blu's 2 hour and wait it out (no DoT's on blu).

Pld/war tank worked best with Pescatora, like above have said, tank at max distance and in front.

At Alexander 55% make sure pld's hp is over 1500 capped constantly until Divine Judgement goes off. Same at 5-10%.

Gospel of Light is 1000+hp cure ><, can be stunned but is very fast. Repeated use of this tpmove is one of the luck/key factors of win/lose.

MPregen is a big deal, 2x Convert is very nice.
