    FF Origins glitch

recently purchased the 2 disc Origins for ps1. FF1 is fine and, but on FF2 there are locations in the game that it will freeze after certain things are done. Theres 2 places ive checked it and restarted game and its always there. The first place it happens you can get out another way so wasnt a big deal, but later in the game i found another freeze point which you cant bypass. I am playing it on a ps3, because i have no memory card to play it on my ps2. anyone seen/heard of this? or is my game just bunk

Emulating an emulation probably isn't a recipe for goodness. I'd pass it off as one of the titles that suffered from the jump.

Wait, you can save PS1 games on a PS3 memory card?

And you could always pop it in your pc and use an actual emulator.

On ps3 you can create memory cards on the harddrive for ps1 or ps2 games, and huh you cant put a ps1 game in my computer? This glitch really sucks

PSX emulators will read from PSX CDs if you have a CD-rom drive. In case you don't for some reason, sorry for assuming.

    Google.

Seriously though: http://www.ngemu.com/. Click downloads, close the stupid Zwinky popup ad and go to psx emulators. I'm using ePSXe, but I've heard good things about PSXeven as well. Origins shouldn't need quite as much tweaking as VP1 either (it took me a few hours to deal with some sound synching issues).

Get the plugins from the same site as the emulator, google for the bios (like the setup wizard says).

Strange. All on one emulator or have you tried others? I've only been playing ISOs, so there might be something different about using an actual CD.
