Bunch of awesome RPGs collecting dust :(

Ok, so over the past few years, well ever since I started playing FFXI, I've amassed an enormous collection of games, and RPGs in general. Most of which I put in, played for 10 minutes, then put back on the shelf. Here's the list:

GBA
FFII - got halfway and stopped playing ><
FFV - same
FFVI - just bought it. Played halfway through the SNES version, but forgot the story.

PS2
FFX - got to the end but forgot the story before I could finish it
FFX-2 - Havent even unwrapped
FFXII - got halfway, still remember the story

GC
Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask - got halfway through, remember a bit.
Tales of Symphonia - Halfway, forgot the story

Xbox
KOTOR - Halfway, lol see a trend?
KOTOR 2 - havent unwrapped

PS1
Breath of Fire 3 - I think I almost beat this game, but I'll have to restart
Legend of Legaia - same
Saga Frontier - same
Xenogears - same - Loved Xenogears, but damn was it a bitch to follow.

DC
Grandia 2 - I don't think I've ever played the original, should I hold on this?
Record of the Lodoss War - Haven't opened it yet
Time Stalkers - Haven't opened

Yea, so that's a hell of a list of uncompleted RPGs. I guess I'm just wondering which ones are worth playing through again and which ones I should save for another couple years, lol.

What games do you guys have collecting dust that you have to complete yet?

Oh wow you got a lot of work to do then...finish Xenogears first the story epic then of to Majora's Mask and then w/e order after that.

Tales of Symphonia is definitly worth playing through at least once.

You have a pretty awesome collection going, I have the same bad habit of buying games and playing for 5 or so hours then just putting in a different one. I really like to buy a game everyime i go to bestbuy or wherever just to have it, kinda like a DVD collection only games. I think my problem with finishing games is that I always feel guilty if I play them alone, sorta like watching a good movie you wanna share it with a friend or something so you can both talk/have the experience of it. I really like games a lot less playing them alone

I think I'm gonna try and get through the FFs first, then maybe tackle some older games. I'd really love to play through Chrono Trigger and Earthbound again. Those were my first two RPGs and the games that really made me realize how powerful games can really be.

Games are fun! :D

The ones I've bought that I haven't beaten/started yet are:

Dragon Quest VIII
Suikoden V
Tales of Symphonia
Arc the Lad (part-way through the second)
Alundra

There are some other RPGs I wanted to play but never bought because I knew that by the time I'd actually get around to them I could find them for cheap in a bargain bin or something.

Alundra for ps1? Where'd you find a copy of that, I'd like to play it I hear it has a pretty dark (and good) story.

xenogears and the FFs would be no-brainers, but Breath of Fire 3 is really awesome too. It's simple, not terribly long(for an RPG) and loads of fun, I'd definetly recommend replaying that one beginning to end

Breath of Fire 3 is the longest Breath of Fire I think? I remember it being pretty long actually.

It's not too long for an RPG game. Last time I played I think I had about 33 hours on it at the last dungeon, without rushing any part of the game

Eh that is long. The average RPG takes around 25-30. I just looked at mine was in final dungeon at 29 hours /shrug thought it was longer heh... been a while.

I tend to beat most games faster... I rush ;\ beat FF7 in 28 hours on first playthrough... games a joke lol.

I bought it a few years ago off a guy I knew in college.

Maybe it was just me, but I really didn't like Breath of Fire 1 and 2, so I decided to not bother with the rest of the series.

I played the cat girls story in SO:2 all theway through, but never finished it forthe blonde kid...

SMT: Nocturne, Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2, Odins Sphere are a few among the many rpgs I get part way through then get too busy with FFXI -_-

I was able to finish off more RPG's due to my addiction to FFXI's endgame... windows gave me so much time to play them ;d

It's the same story, you just see different cutscenes in a few places and walk around with a different sprite. And you can recruit a different character near the end of disc 1.
