What size waist are you?

Up until yesterday when I bought some jeans I didn't really know there was a second number after your waist size, I think I fit 30 since I use belts on some 31 jeans I have. Problem with having a small waist in a world where people are getting fatter is that lots of jeans are too short since they are made for kids who are short but bigger around the waist.

I think Im like a 35ish waist. 34 is generally too tight, and some 36's are too big. And then 30 length.

Thats what I've always thought too. I was told that you're pretty healthy when the two match up, or the second is bigger than the first.

6'1 160lbs. 34x34 fit well, 34x32 are ok if I'm standing, but when I sit the legs ride up too high around my ankles, 32x32 or 32x34 basically kills me. I'm kind of a girl, slender body w/ hips.

As a general rule 32x32; 32x34; 160-170 used to be considered the look/body guys wished they had.

IMO--
30-34 is healthy as long as you don't have a gut
150-170 is ideal anything more than that and it needs to be muscle to be considered healthy.
