Spending 80 dollars in one visit isnt appealing (SSBB&WotG).

Having to decide between the 2 when I get home isnt appealing.

i'm pretty sure the expansion won't go live until a day or two after the box release, like they did with aht'urhgan. that was a great idea, and it made people feel less pressured to get the game and omggottainstallitnow... i think everyone was pretty satisfied with that method (except the hardcore jp who told me that they felt SE messed up by turning it on during NA primetime and jp 8am)

I never quite got what they meant when they said the % of WotG. Does 100% = ready to release, or the end of major WotG updates? If it's the latter, then I'd say it's safe to assume we might even get another ToAU update after the Pit, which will kick the ass out of Ballista/Brenner/NPCs/Chocos, by the way.

True, but I recall JPs got into Aht Urhgan before us. A Jap was the first BLU, COR, PUP, a Jap will be the first Time Mage, Mimic, geomancer or whatever SE dumps in this expansion.

They get the jobs first because NA have too many glory hogs that go, "I got BLU! ...but I'm sleepy I'll tell you how tomorrow or maybe never kthxbye" (true story!)
