PoL Mail Error

Ive had this problem for years now, starting to annoy me! Everytime I log on ff11 from ps2 or ps3, when PoL loads a box comes up saying "unable to check mail account on server". Now way back years ago i changed my PoL address or something..ive tried to fix this multiple times from menus inside PoL, tried to figure out what i did or how i fix it, but nada. my messages work fine from the ff11 in game menu. any suggestions?

you need to update/save your email address and password in the email options.

or just check the box that tells it to ignore. email is different than pol messages.
