ehh, it's possible for a cop to get fired like that. It's difficult being that they are union, but is possible. There may have been other factors as well (cardinal sins come to mind). As for fighting it, dress professionaly, suit and tie, whole nine yards. remain calm and polite and push the whole part of him being a few blocks behind you at one point.

Now for the super secret. If you want to get out of 99.9% of all tickets, just become a cop yourself. I can't count how many times i've been with my uncle or father who have gotten pulled over for stupid stuff like speeding and all they have to do is hand there police ID card with there license and every time (except the time we accidently left the food out when we were in yosemite) they have gotten out of the ticket with just a warning.

Haha, left the food out? Any bears? I just got back from Yosemite, and there was a bear rampaging through a picnic area in front of El Capitan eating loads of plastic bags full of food. lol I didn't know they wrote tickets for that, but makes sense that they do

didn't read the whole thread but in florida anytime i get a ticket i call up a ticket lawyer. for $80-100 they'll take care of it usually get it thrown out.

- 79 in a 35 (onramp turns into 65mph i like to have fun with.. speed trap) got it thrown out, no points
- right turn on red without completely stopping (was midnight, no cars, etc). had to pay $80 on top of the lawyer fee, no points.
- 58 in a 45 .. no points but had to pay like $75 or 80 like the other one. saved about $50 on the ticket.

I mostly do it so i don't have to deal with it or get points, but theres tons of places like this in south florida. maybe something you can look into.

Ticket says Sept 24. But when I call up and plead not guilty, it'll more than likely be pushed to like January as always.

No bears. We were stupid and only were there for about an hour when we decided to go to the lake and wash up since we were driving all day. Was gone like 30 minutes and just completley zoned out on locking the coolers in those metal bins. Was amusing watching my uncle and father start to pull out there police id's and the park ranger telling em to put it back, it's not getting em out of the ticket. 8)
