Its sick, its intense, its going to be better then Halo3. Ive been spending the past 2 days playing non-stop. I cant tell you awesome this is. All the reviews and hype are fluffed, its real. This game is the most intense FPS out there, and possibly ever. The character class creation and perks put it all on a whole new level.

Not in the beta? Charlioscardelta.com Try to sign up. All hope loss at getting in? Do what I did. I have a buddy of mine with the beta on his 360. Through a clever glitch you can get it on your own xbox, with the invite.

Instructions:
On YOUR machine, get 2 controllers on it. Do an account recovery on your machine with HIS gamertag. Then go to the downloads that are listed on his name, highlight COD4BETA. (Under download history) Then with the SECOND controller hit the guide button. With the first HIGHLIGHT your gamertag, then with the second controller log in your name. Exit that. The history should still be up. Viola, redownload the CODBETA and it will be attached to your name.

Complicated process but its worth it.

Yeah, couldn't agree with you more, Po and myself are both in the Beta and it really is an amazing piece of FPS-ery. =) I think the skills, percs, and even the Barrack's Challenges are genius. I really love everything about this game... even Overgrown o.O

I was playing on my cousins beta (VTLax)...holy shit I'm lining up for it.

Crash is my favorite map out of the 3

Shooting through walls in that jungle map gets annoying fast.

I hate Overgrown. I like crash. And I love the third one thats inside. I use a shotgun and get like 25 kills in that one, lol.

The perks add more to the game then what you can read about. Last stand (from what I can see) is a brilliant idea by itself. The reworked "classes" is SOOO much better than CoD3's shit. Even though I still see a medic or the ability to revive someone (is that a perk?) useful at the cost of 5 or so points.

Yup, right there. That sums up Overgrown for ya. Campers love it, Anti-snipers hate it. I think the map is fun with a Sniper rifle or without. I LOVE running through that map with a silenced AK47 and UAV Jammer. I can only imagined in the full release, this map + Kill Cam off + UAV Jammer = some damn frustrated blokes getting shots to the head x 100.

Vacant is a lot of fun if you have a good team. If everyone splits up it is a deathfest. If you all stick together and try to keep your UAV up at all times, it gets messy fun.

Crash is by far the most fun in general i think. Great map, tons of perches for Snipers. Tons of use out of the C4 Perk... just a lot of fun.

I wonder if they will raise the cap in the beta. I know originally they stated that the cap was going to be 20, but it is at 11 now. Only takes about 20 or so decent runs to hit that cap. But even then, there is so much to unlock with each gun (Red Dot, Silencer, ACOG, etc.) So much greatness.

There needs to be a more involved clan atmosphere, like how SOCOM 1 and 2 had it.

I've been playing it for a few days. It's deffinatly a lot faster than most realistic type console shooters. The controls are freakin fluid and the battles are hectic and fun. I like it.

Yeah it really is that good, everything just clicks. I can't wait for the full release. More maps, more Ranks, and some of the crazier Perks... like Eavesdropping which lets you listen in on the other teams Voice Chat XD! Oh that would be silly. But yeah Exo, keep watching the COD4 site, they said even if you didn't get in on the last two sign ups that there would be more chances. I will let you know if i hear of any.

Will COD4 for PS3 and COD4 for 360 have their own servers? I assume the answer is yes, so we will have to make two new GFP clans.
