Yeah, i am guessing that they will. I find it unlikely that the two would play nicely together. I have already preordered it for the PS3, though i am now wondering if i should snatch it up for 360 instead. Really... i just like the Rumble on this game, adds so much to the atmosphere.

On the other hand, I would rather be able to play a game for an extended period of time and NOT wonder if this is the last game my 360 will ever play -.- Besides... Rumble is coming to PS3 in 2010 anyway. =)

This is going to be the best shootam game of the fall imo. After playing both betas this game fucking wipes its ass with the Halo 3 Beta. Overall I think this game will just be arms and legs better than Halo.

So far I am at level 11 maxed out so I can't wait until they raise the cap.

The gun I have been leveling up the most has been the RPD (in light machine guns) and I like it a lot, only thing that sucks is the reload time on it.

Next gun I see myself using is the M4 (I think it is called)... it is the last Assault Rifle that you unlock.

Yeah it really is that good, everything just clicks. I can't wait for the full release. More maps, more Ranks, and some of the crazier Perks... like Eavesdropping which lets you listen in on the other teams Voice Chat XD! Oh that would be silly. But yeah Exo, keep watching the COD4 site, they said even if you didn't get in on the last two sign ups that there would be more chances. I will let you know if i hear of any.

Infinity Ward itself has stated a few times already that COD4 for PS3 will be running at 60FPS minimum. Now them saying that and us seeing it... well... yeah.

The one video that they have shown from the PS3 multiplayer (all the others are from the 360 multiplayer) look just as crazy gorgeous to me. Check it out PS3 C4 Perk Video

The graphics comparisons never ever really interest me that much unless there is a remarkable difference one way or the other. I am no fanboy of either system, rather just a FAN of both. If you are interested though, here are some screen comparisons. Some slight color difference, and people seem to agree that there is a slight detail increase on PS3, but really these comparisons are kinda moot because they are comparisons during different phases of the build. The 360 is more of a bluer tint because they were still tweaking it. The PS3's yellowish tint is actually closer to what the level will look like on BOTH systems. So the comparison isn't really valid... as they are at different stages of the builds.

IW has stated that locales will be identical on both systems. My main concern is player base. I would obviously want to be on the console that has a larger player base to go up against... and i fear that is going to be on the 360.

Thanks to this thread, I now have a major hard-on for Call of Duty 4. And that's coming from a guy who hated Call of Duty 1 and never tried Call of Duty 2 or 3. :D

I do hope that lot of you Warhawk buddies come to the PS3 version of COD4 when it's released, or I'll have to buy Xbox360. >_<
It's not a money issue, more of a time issue and "fuck now I got two systems + computer I need to buy games for"-issue. :D

XD well i am still on the fence until i see a bit more PS3 info. Like i said earlier, i have pre-ordered the PS3 version, but no reason i couldn't switch later if i wanted to.

Also, FYI for the Beta Glitchers... i am sure you know this or have heard already but...

PS3 + 360 might trip a circuit. If my AC and 360 are on the same circuit, it gets tripped after like an hour lol.

Haha, i KNOW that running both would blow a breaker in our house. Our house + electrical system is soooooo ancient. Had to add a few outlets onto their own breaker just so we could use the Air Conditioner and a few lamps at the same time =P

For those that are foaming at the mouth to get in, i recommend keeping your eyes on the following locations as often as you can for possible updates/new invite opportunities:

1) COD4 Official Sitrep
2) Fourtwozero's Blog - Community Relations Director for the Beta. Due to the mishaps that have occurred already, he has updated his Blog faster than the Sitrep.

I would still focus your beady eyes on the main site though. Assuming kinks have been ironed out now, they should be the ones to release future Beta Opportunities first:
