I called a GM, waited like an hour and a half.

GM's are far too busy to handle rmt calls. a couple nights ago i gm'ed a couple of twats that were spamming up bastok markets with random swearing and racial slurs. auto-message said that there were 25 calls in front of mine, but alas it only a whole 5min to get contacted by a GM. Healmar i think it was.

Wouldn't this be a good way to kind of quietly out gilbuyers/sellers? Give the name of a friend, and when they're approached for said gil, call a GM. Don't accept the money before they /tell, so you can return it with no legal implications.

Getting RMT accounts to surface through fake currency exchange seems like a really great way to fuck with RMT.
SE should have a guy dedicated on setting up fake transactions like this. They could fucking kill the industry. (Until rmt servers ban the IPs the GMs are working from)

Maybe someone either on the forum or in your LS went to IGE and placed an order saying that you (Rocl) were selling 11.5m gil. Then the Gerhild guy wouldn't have been fucking with you, he would have really thought it was a legit sale. Since the person fucking with you knew what was going on (maybe you talked about it in LS?) he went back to IGE and went to live chat saying that the person never came to pick up the gil, so the guy came back a second time lol.

I do a kind of similar thing. One of the rmt has an aim account called Buy ffxi gil, I give him names of people i hate on bahamut telling him they want to sell gil :D.
