with halo they are force feeding yout he same shit over and over.
key word there was "Trying."
Except that wasnt Sony, but the graphic designer that was hired by Sony who fucked up.Originally Posted by Deejay

Rather than argue, why don't you quit sounding ignorant and I won't go into fanboy mode. You'd be doing us all a favor.Originally Posted by Ace-o-fire

It's pretty clear this edit was made by an employee not following corporate ethical conduct guidelines and not representative of some nefarious wiki shenanigans campaign from Sony HQ.
I think the whole point of this thread is that some people (who aren't fanboys) suspect that there are shenanigans going on. Personally, I don't really know or care, but it's worth a few luls once in a while.
edit: and stickies are on top of every page.
edit2: oops, not on this board they're not. My mistake.
It's also from one of sony's head bloging sites, it could have been something like some one bored on a lunch break.
ps: why dont you go in to fanboy mode, it's good entertainment, also how am i being ignorant?
Killzone should be decent, Halo will be big mostly because of its fanbase.
Obviously you can tell i'm not impressed with either series, then again I have never owned the lolxbox1, so I've never actually got around to play the Halos from start to finish... i'm going to gamefly them soon though, so i'll try to finish both storylines before 3 comes out.
And seriously, you can tell it's some stupid Sony employee... you all need to chill and stop taking things to heart, it's not like you have shares in the 360 or the PS3. (or do you? >.>)
Because you've bashed Halo numerous times in this thread without giving 1 valid argument? "Omg its the same thing over and over" can be said for just about every fucking sequel of all time. Shutup.Originally Posted by Ace-o-fire

There is not improvment in the AI, it's all basicly a upping the amount of damge you take and the damge delt to you while they boost the enemys when you go up in difficulties. Every enemy follows a pattern that you can memorize. You can pretty much figure out the ending to each game after the first hour.Originally Posted by Deejay
Unless they show me an improvment on any of those then I will bash it. Halo brought FPS to consoles, and online game play. Thats it.

You never played Halo 2 on legendary with the skulls active did you, you know the ones that made and enemy AI much more realistic and made the game damn near impossible?

To be fair, Halo didn't bring FPS to consoles(See: Goldeneye 64). It brought a decent control scheme.

I did, and that where it's layed out in to a pattern.
Alrighty i'll give you goldeneye, but halo brought it to the front.
I actually find it quite funny and disturbed at the same time that people take wikipedia info/edits so seriously.
The real journalism institutions are going out of business in less than a decade at this rate...
Now be reasonable, people! Halo brought us a ringworldthat you don't have to read about out of a physical book, and it gave us RvB. Surely you can't debate that RvB is plenty of accomplisment to have resulted from a couple FPS games!
What's more, sometimes sequals are nothing like their originals. That's when we complain about them. Anyone remember Star Fox Adventures? Even if it had nothing to do with Star Fox until someone noticed the main character looked a lot like Fox and slapped a licensce and a wrapper story on it, we still complained that it was a departure from Star Fox. Also Metroid Prime, although we warmed up to that one later.
Personally, I just couldn't get into another multiplayer FPS after the repeated beatings I received in Quake 3. And single player mode = no replay value, at least outside Jedi Knight. Oh, and not having an Xbox doesn't help either.
I really have no strong feelings about Halo... on the other hand, I did have a lot of fun playing through Halo 1 Co-op on the hardest difficulty with my best friend but on the other hand, the story never really interested me, the game felt really plain as a single player (after playing pretty much every FPS on the computer with a solid 2 year career in Counter-Strike :D).
Halo 2 looked and felt a bit unfinished... but then again, I only played it a few times at my friend's house.
What I'm trying to say is, that I don't see anything special in Halo and to this day I still haven't quite understood why people fuzz about it.![]()
I was going to write something, but I realized it would just come out as HURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR so I stopped.Halo and to this day I still haven't quite understood why people fuzz about it.
