A pretty informative article though it's not all 'true,' yet. Do you think Nintendo will confirm this anytime soon. I think it would be pretty stupid /not/ to have the features mentioned, especially with the way they seem to market Wii.

ONM recently released an announcement that would surely anger fans. ONM stated that even though they didn't say it was speculation or they were making it up misleading many readers and it looked like a fact, the details they gave is what they wanted to see in the game.The statement they gave is below

Eh? Without ranking, matchmaking is kinda boring. Don't really need a permanant ranking, but they should at least save your stats permantly.

As long as it's not like the DS with those lame dashes all those korean players use so they lap you like 3 times in one race... bad memories.

Wonder how they'll do the controls. If they go back to the SNES design they cant lose I don't think. I still play mariokart for snes and n64 all the time since I still have the consoles.

Control with nunchuck, C to use item (aim with the wiimote for green shell), B for brake, A to accelerate..and hmmm, Z for jump? Arrow for camera change and other functions.

They will probably go for something similar if they want to keep it traditional.
