Not sure what to title this...

Ok so i just got a new graphics card/proccessor(sp?)/motherboard and everytime i log out of the game or turn it off i have to fully restart my computer to log back in. I can't switch to a mule or anything. Pretty ghetto that i have to fully restart my computer to log back in. And i also can't 2 box when i am logged in on 1 character. Also when i try to run Itunes in the background the songs are playing really fast, like 1.5x the speed they are supposed too. Anyone have any idea?

Probably title it "new cpu/gfx/mobo woes" and put it in tech support section.

Are you using XP or Vista?

Do you have the latest video/chipset/soundcard drivers and DirectX (though I think FFXI only needed 8.1?) installed?

If not, start there hopefully it's just a driver bug. The problem with iTunes is pretty weird and makes it sound like it might be a sound driver issue. Try disabling sound temporarily in FFXI Config and see if that fixes it. It could also be a problem with a BIOS setting since the mobo is new.

Are you trying to 2 box by running two windowed instances of FFXI on the same PC? I'm a little confused with what you mean there.

Try that and see if it helps, and provide a few more details please.

And sorry didn't know there was a technical Supposrt on here :/

When upgrading your motherboard, I would recommended you re-install your OS just to eliminate any driver issues etc.
