I don't normally like much rap outside of the older, original stuff, but I do like a lot of Kanye's music. I accidentally stumbled upon College Dropout a few years ago and it was full of greatness. I might have to check out this new album too.

Sounded decent, but every single track except a small few felt like it was just missing...well, something. I can't quite put my finger on it. I like all the tracks, but I just can't seem to get into any of them at all

I hate Kanye West so fucking much. It just makes it worse that he's a propagator of the worst "musical" movement ever.

Get real, Kanye is one of the best true hiphop artists EVER. He is up there with Nas, Jayz, Ali, and Tim. He rhymes are actually original, and he doesn't have write about the following to succeed:

1. Drugs
2. Sex (Superman that hoooooooo!)
3. Rims
4. Guns
5. Gang bangin

I can listen to other artists' songs and say, hey, thats a kanye script. That's success in his business.

Favorite Tracks: Just about all of them but I really like Big Brother, The Glory and Cant Tell me Nothin.

I love it, thats all I can say. Big Brother is definitely my favorite, Stronger is still awesome, but I've been listening to that for like 4 months.

Edit: Only songs I don't like is Barry Bonds and D/H Girls. I'm sure theres some meaning behind them, but I don't like them, even if one has Lil Wayne (god I feel horrible for typing Lil).

But this thread got me pretty curious so I gave it a try, I gotta say I actually like it. Big Brother is really good, so is Stronger. Need to look up some of the others people have suggested now.

lol I noticed this bump as I was listening to "Big Brother". Weird.

But ya I am enjoying it alot it's the first Kanye West Album I've gotten and the only other songs I've heard involving him besides the obvious "Gold Digger".

I love the young jeezy remix of "Cant Tell Me Nothing" especially the line:

Good album. Might be the worst of his 3 though. I'm glad he took out all the skits for this one it made the flow better.

Champion, The Good Life, Homecoming are 3 of my favorites.
Barry Bonds and Drunk n Hot Girls really kill the flow through the middle of the album. Drunk n hot girls does make me laugh and make me nod my head but its not really his style, sounds too much like an Eminem track to me.

Talib Kweli still has the best rap/hiphop album of 2008.
