i've only heard stronger and i liked the song a decent amount just listening to it, but after seeing the video's akira theme it made me like it even more.

Graduation is fire. If you really get into it, you can hear how he meshes his beats with his lyrics almost perfectly on most songs. The weakest tracks are Barry Bonds, Good Life and Can't Tell Me Nothin', IMO. You can really hear how he has developed his style on I Wonder, Good Morning and Flashing Lights. His cd is some real mood music and I think his best put togther album, he cut all the crap, took out the 20+ tracks and put together some really powerful songs. He may sample, but the way in which he does it, its more than just a beat or catchy verse to make a song more appealing, its actually part of the song and blends beautifully, I give it a 9/10.
Noticed it while I was listening to "Homecoming". Really good album, and I'm not usually a big hip-hop fan.Originally Posted by Maguspk

Secondly Timbaland is to Kanye what Dre is to diddy when it comes to producing.
Album is epic.
finally got the cd..... well i got it when it came out lol this cd is fuckin good :O!! at first i wasnt a fan of barry bonds but now i think its a real good song of his D/H girls is his weakest track though everything else is sexy..... and i totally agree with the person who said that getting rid of his gay ass interludes was a good move.....

His attitude doesn't really make his already good music all of a sudden bad. Good music is good music.

I can't listen to anything they play on the radio or mtv nowadays but kanye has some dope songs.
No, to stalkmore. The first video you can even tell he's drunk off his ass and just trying to make a joke at how everyone thinks he has the biggest head in the business.Originally Posted by Plow

Maybe its just this point in my life but I personally think this CD is pretty bad. Dunno how to explain it maybe I will like it later down the road but when I listen to it I just feel like its another song not anything epic or amazing like most people do for this album.
(For the record his first two were good, this one is kinda weak for me)
I admit I knew what he was trying to say I just find it a rather poor comarison. Starting with the fact that Dre and Diddy could not have more diffrent styles, and ending with the fact that Kanye and Timbaland could be put in the same sentance without offending one of them.Originally Posted by Kailee
Graduation fucking sucks. I was expecting much MUCH more, but I was completely let down. The pattern I'm seeing is, that people that just got into Kanye generally liked this cd, while people that have been listening to him since CDO, have been let down. While the CD itself is OK, I guess I had set the bar way too high for him.
Anyways, watch out for 8 Diagrams and *cross your fingers* Detox later this year...two albums that are *sure* to be classics.
