NFL Week 1 Picks

Ok Mr Serious face who's overly emotionally involved with his team. It was a joke, learn to take it.

On a related but unrelated note, looks like again, unsurprisingly, that if we talk the 5 best teams in the NFL, we may not be listing an NFC team. The two teams from last years NFC championship were held to a single touchdown, both being ousted by over 10 points (albeit on the road, but home field advantage good for about 3 points) by the AFC.

The best two teams from the NFC this week were probably the Seahawks and the Cowboys. Neither really proved much since both played against crappy defenses.

Yeah Everett's injury is really terrible, glad to hear the prognosis is a lot more optimistic than what we were hearing on monday. I watched that game at the local bills backers bar and everyone was really, really bummed when we didn't see the thumbs up or any signs of movement at all. We're all gonna get together before the game next weekend and take pics and try to make something to send him. This poor guy's brief carreer has been rough with injuries (missed rookie season, only played a bit last season) and now to have this happen? Brutal. Noone (around here at least) is bitching or moaning about the game itself, though we were before we found out about the severity of Everett's status. The injury puts it in a bit more perspective.

Which city man? Bills have backer's clubs all over the world. It's actually quite amazing.

I'm in philly, great group we've got here. I've also been to one outside of D.C, and they were great too.

I actually struggled with this one, but I'm not willing to give houston two in a row

The saints O better not lay another egg, not agains this team

ST LOUIS over san fransisco
Another not-so-easy pick, I think sanfran is better than what they showed on monday

DALLAS over miami
I hate both teams, but I love hating miami more, plus they suck.

gogo adrian peterson! My fantasy team is counting on ya!

SEATTLE over arizona

CHICAGO over kansas city
I watched two episodes of hard knocks or whatever and came away thinking that the chiefs were going to struggle, Bears defense ftw.

Denver put up sick offense last week, Buf's special teams was the only thing keeping them in the game.

I can't wait to watch this game! Fireworks on both offenses!
