    This new-aged 'Online Society'

    Yes, I visit Digg.

7 Reasons the 21st century is Making You Miserable

A lot of this feels very true for me. Due to health issues, I missed out on the last two years of high school, right when my social life was starting to develop, and pretty much all of my friends have "moved on" since then. The only time I talk to them is on Facebook with the occasional "how's it going". There are only a handful of situations where I actually talk face to face with people, college (community college, no dorm life), work, and around my family/cousins. Otherwise, I'd say about 85% of my social interaction comes from online sources. And most of the time I'm left feeling underwhelmed by online conversations.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not depressed or emo. I'm comfortable with the way things are, it's just sometimes I think it would have been nice to grow up in an earlier decade, where strangers weren't already lost in their own world with their laptops, iPods and cellphones, and seclusion wasn't so easy.

    >_> I'll go outside more when I'm done with college.

In my time running a website, I've been called "fag" approximately 104,165 times. I keep an Excel spreadsheet. I've also been called "asshole" and "cockweasel" and "fuckcamel" and "cuntwaffle" and "shitglutton" and "porksword" and "wangbasket" and "shitwhistle" and "thundercunt" and "fartminge" and "shitflannel" and "knobgoblin" and "boring."

I agreed with most of it, cept for the part about more media outlets being bad. If you have a large amount of stupid malcontents gather in a single spot in the land of milk and honey that is the internet, generaly they'll buy whatever twisted sense of logic they can concoct. Sort of like, when alot of people believe the same thing, they will generaly believe it true.

    edit: axiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiil

Not sure if anyone read this before but I posted this awhile ago.

It's from the same guy, he basically talks about how MMORPG will change the future lol
then again i kinda agree with him to certain extend. technology has changed the way of living for most of us. some of things that we used to do in the past are left behind. people nowadays are really taking things for granted more or less..
