Let me guess, if your PayPal account was hacked you would just leave it there and not do anything? At the time I still wasn't sure how the password was obtained, and I didn't even maek the connection yet that all my passwords were the same. So I didn't want to just change the password. The safest bet was to simply close the entire account, I hadn't used it in years anyway.

Actually, in a very abstract way it is a crime...you are using a companies resources and stealing from all it's people by patronizing illegal chinese sweatshop workers who work for disguisting wages in horrible conditions. The presidents of companies like IGE are some of the most immoral people around.

Its one of those crimes that is like proving manslaughter. People "will" someone dead all the time, but unless they do something negligent which causes their death, they won't get in trouble. Its one of those things that requires class to understand and I know a lot of people don't have much class. So what it all boils down to is anyone who does it and feels no remorse is definately a LAME person - if nothing else.

Can't blame him really, 3 years ago my CC company called me and told me that 2 payments totalling 2k had been withdrawn from my CC, and whether I had authorized them. They told me it was a payment originating from paypal. They cancelled my card, and I went to my Paypal account and removed all of my accounts from it, and changed the password. I still use the account, but I put my info on, make my purchase and remove the account info after it clears. Even then, I haven't used Paypal in probably 9 months at least.

Actually, the locals can shut down your site if you don't provide information regarding a potential crime, had it happen on another forum when someone made a semi-legitimate violent threat. I am not saying they are going to get sued or taken to court, but the police can shut down the site, and if they don't provide information on the person being investigated it can cause problems.

I highly doubt the admins of this website, regardless of their relationship to Taj, are dumb enough to withhold information and risk getting their entire site shutdown, if they do happen to be called up or otherwise queried by the FBI.

My understanding is that authorities take personal death threats very seriously if there is motive for it. Either way, invasion of privacy is still something they'll look into, unlike gilbuying.

1. The passwords were obtained because Divisor has a universal password for everything. Someone who can login to post on BG can access his funds.

2. While Taj accessing his Paypal was questionable, he did not do anything other than take screenshots of IGE Reciepts.

3. Divisor deleted his Paypal account, thusly making any legal action he intends to make absolutely impossible (as if it wasn't before).

4. People already knew what Taj is like, this is no shocking revelation, nothing has changed in years. Taj will go on being Taj, while Divisor now has to go on with people knowing he bought absolute wads of gil.

5. Still no straight answer about FFXIclopedia donations.

Whenever you make a payment, paypal sends a receipt to your email. Just so happens that, according to the shots, $1640 USD was paid by DV to IGE in '04. These are RECEIPTS. He does not have the credit card number. Why do I believe these pictures are true? Because Taj can get into your email. He made Windower. If it was some random guy, I'd be a little more suspicious, yes?

Incorrect. A simple subpoena will uncover any logs and information Paypal has from Divisor's deleted account. The information sticks around for lengths of time because financial institutions are required to keep this information. I don't know how long for but it's a significant amount of time, plenty enough for an investigation to follow through.
