Before this fiasco, taj's antics weren't so bad. He exposed some partial flaws in the game (emphasis on game), and got the devs to fix it. Nothing amazingly detrimental to anyone. But, getting into someone's personal files and financial info is bad no matter which way you slice it. Taj is not some enforcer of a law, he has no right to 'investigate' a person for certain activities. He has no right to break into someone's personal files and divulge personal information. The fact that he did it trying to absolve some lolinternet debate makes it immensely childish and retarded also. Just because I see someone being suspicious over a game of Internet Hearts doesn't mean I have the right, legally or morally, to access secure information about that individual.

As for the password... bad idea, yes. To put a n analogy to it... it is against the law to enter a household without the owner's permission, whether the door is locked or unlocked, no matter how secure the household is. The victim should never be considered 'at fault' when personal space/info/etc. is violated or obtained.
