A Moral Manifest? - Quest reset

Hello. Long time reader, first time poster from Seraph. I was wondering if it's possible to cancel this particular quest? I apparently started the quest a long time ago and forgot about it. I now find myself wanting a Quadav Barbut rather than the Yagudo Headgear. I also don't wish to spend the time and gil to get the final Rare/ex NM Yagudo Headpiece only to trash it.

I have gone to both the Quadav and Yagudo strongholds hoping to get either another hat option or cancel the current selection with no luck. Thanks in advance for any useful info.

From what i remember reading awhile ago (when these quests first came out) you have to finish the old quest before you can get a new one. So you might be better off buying it, of you cant/dont want to finish your old one :/

I couldn't find any way to cancel my Choplix's Coif quest, so I ended up finishing it completely (including the final cutscene where you recieve a Gold Beastcoin), waited until the next Conquest Tally, and still could not get the cutscene for the quest I really wanted which is the Yagudo Headgear one. I'm fairly certain it's not necessary to throw out your old headgear; I've seen a screenshot of someone with 2 of the 3 helms. Maybe there's some sort of required real time wait.
