the HQ also gave me higher skills (FP cost) but that is a very small sample size.

They can in all cages.

Can confirm you also get exp off fighting with friends. My level 8 vs a friends level 6, I got 75 exp he got 25 exp (I won).

Is there a list of Usable/Unusable mobs compiled? Even if everything is capturable what mobs can't you actually use in the arena. I'm guessing CoP only mobs won't work because someone without that expansion wouldn't have a dat file for an Xzomit or Yorva, so it would makes sense if they were for abilities only. I don't think anybody has successfully been allowed to use a Wyrm either, but you can 'take their picture' for feral schennanigans.

Someone used a Taurus, and Uleguerand Range is CoP-only (you get turned away with a message when you try to zone, saying you cannot enter the area... don't you?).

They can in all cages.

He finally got kicked out by another level 10 monster - you do NOT gai nexperience while beeing a champion. You need to lose or quit then go to npc again. that champions taurus got from level 10 to 13 streight from that win streak.
