Main Job: Warrior
Sub Job: Red Mage (it came with these dont hate lol)
Equipped with White mage scrolls

Doesn't cast any magic?

Two fights that have lasted a decent while, still no magic... :T It's "Very Wild and Very Aggressive"...maybe thats why.

Anyone know of a mob that gives Enthunder?
Anyone know of a mob that has THF main job? (Or no main job?)

sorry if i missed this but has anyone figured out any the subjobs for each monster family? apparently, you can't pick whatever subjob you want.

Changes support job to ???. Can only be used by select monster families, and cannot be combined with any other support jobs.

this guy i know has a scorpion (main war) and he's tried nin, mnk, sam, and rng sub but failed. he tried blm sub to test and that was the only one that worked so far.

Might require White Magic Scrolls/Black Magic Scrolls.

Can find those off white mage/black mage beastmen.

(Note: Scrolls not Main or Sub Job, there are soul plates for main and sub jobs.)


As for the Additional Lightning Damage. Ul'Phuabos have that.

Anyone have a list of how much FP each mob starts with?

I captured:

Wajoam Tiger: Level 7
Main Job: Warrior
FP: 56
Started off with Str+25.

I'm unsure if the abilities you start with effect the FP total that you start with or not. I will capture more Wajoam Tigers to verify.

I added: Main job Thief: from Fomor Thief in Wajoam Woodlands, and Triple Attack +15% from Kaiser Behemoth.

When I was asking for THF main, I meant, a mob I can turn into a pet that will start with THF main (aka not a beastmen). Or, a pet with no main job, so you can use a THF main job plate on it. Or, can you use a main job plate on a pet with a main job already and it just overrides it?

Well from Kaiser behemoth I got: Attack Bonus, Triple Attack Rate +15%.

From all the pokeballs I was throwing though, Kaiser could have more but 'rarer' Soul Plates.

Ulegrand Tigers alone gave me:

Str+25
Lizard Killer
Paralyzing Attack
Attack Bonus
Double Attack +15%
Critical Hite Rate +10%


That's 5 on a single mob. I kept trying so I could see but I just got doubles. So I believe that this is the entire list for normal Tiger Mobs. Or at the very least, Ulegrand Tigers.

If I pit my Lv5 against LV8,9,10+ do I get 75 XP and they only get 25?

Yes it over rides it. But it takes up 8 FP (Each job plate costs 8 FP from what I have seen. Main or subjob)

As for if a certain monster always has the same job, I haven't been able to verify that. I will test more tigers this evening

Mine started Warrior. I will capture some and see what else they might start at or if it is a fixed job per family.

but i have only seen it twice in 5-6 battles, so I think im going to get rid of the 15% for now, its quite expensive


has anyone learned additional darkness damage +25 from anywhere but imps or fomor? both are a pain in the fucking arse to learn from.
