Spamming trade macro. :< And lol, lv8 trolls advancing and 76 people in Al'Zahbi.
Is instant shock spikes a spell or will my ram always start off fight with shock spikes?
Probably starts off with it. I'd recommend instant ice-spikes.
Anyone else using a Korrigan? Could use some advice on what put on him. Here's what it has now:
Attack Speed +50 (Innate)
Magic Attack Bonus +15% (Innate)
STR+25
Support Job: Warrior
Critical Hit Rate +10%
Next thing I wanna put is 'Job Trait: Monk' once it levels up alittle more. Thinking it could probably use either +Defense% or +HP? Any suggestions?
Edit: It's at 55/60 ATM. But I wouldn't mind taking some stuff off for a better setup.
Do Ice/Dread spikes for the lulz
edit: It'd be more helpful to know what your current FP standing is.

Wait, how did you pull off attack speed +50 innately?
the trait listed on a plate is usually retained if you turn it into a reflector.Originally Posted by Indalecia
I traded a NM plate of [Daggerclaw Dracos] that had <Attack Bonus> and it gave me a lv. 3 raptor pet with 56 FP-capacity and an innate <Magic Attack +15%>. Go figure?
Thus, it's not usually retained, or even the same trait...?
clearly your sample size of 1 is conclusive? I've got 3 reflectors that retained their trait.Originally Posted by miokomioko

Dang, I guess I missed the boat on my Skoffin, he has no innate abilities (I believe the plate had breath resistance, traded it in for a lvl 9 Skoffin and the npc only lists STR +25 which is one I traded to him). Might have to capture some more, then work on some Korrigans with the attack speed. I just have one question: Do innate abilities use up any of your FP? Seems like it would be pretty strong to get a Korrigan with attack speed and still have all of its FP available.Originally Posted by djriceyes
Don't you need warrior job traits for that to be useful at all?Originally Posted by djriceyes
god damn. taurus mnk/war has a lot of hp. >.> I took two fang rushes from a lv11 wyvern and was still standing strong. I even got intimidated twice and still won lol. my taurus was lv11 too.
Just got this: (Dunno if this is old)
Kreutzet
<Double Attack Rate +15%> (FP:30) :D
At this point with trade macros for 45 minute fights it seems completely pointless to start a new mob to try to get innate abilities, more FP, more FP gain @ level up.
I like my ram, just wish he wasnt so friggin dumb, and started at 43 FP lv9 now 45 FP lv13, kinda limiting
From what I've been checking, a reflectored plate has a chance to carry any of the inherent traits for that monster. The listed trait is the one you can use the plate to give to a monster only.Originally Posted by Priran
So if you pull a Korrigan, even if it's (say) Magic Attack +15 percent, you could quite possibly end up with +50 Attack Speed. It seems random.
Still kinda confused with the whole "Subjob" & "Job Traits" plates. Thought that having the Monk Traits would get me Counter & Guard?Originally Posted by thestalkmore
Well, I've traded 2 plates. My Crit bonus Goobbue received no innate trait. My Attack Bonus raptor received an innate MAB trait.Originally Posted by Priran
I guess your sample of 3 still beats my sample of 2.
