Do you have to just spam trade the bitch?
Also, anyone know if you can equip the same ability twice? like put on STR+25 x4 for the hell of it.
Here's how I do it:Originally Posted by Shuemue
Wait for a match to start
When one mob is getting low, run over to the NPC
Spam macro ( /item "Official Reflector <t>)

I think which NPC you trade to matters? I didn't bother with the one right near entrance(most crowded)
Oh different cages for sure, I always go to B or C.Originally Posted by BRP

I wouldn't mind having a way to store all of the plates in one place
Best way to do it; when a match is over, as soon as the winner despawns more slots are open. Make a macro "/item "Official Reflector" <t>" and spam trade it to the NPC just after the mob wins and she'll accept it then. You have to be fast choosing the option though as if people register faster then you whilst you're talking to the NPC you wont get accepted. I can get in 90% of the time by just hitting enter a couple of times then spamming up + enter (to choose the option of signing up).Originally Posted by Shuemue
This system is fucking retarded.
Seriously, what kind of moron puts a limit of 3 exhibition cages for a server holding thousands?
It'll likely die down in a week or so. It is annoying but it's to be expected when they add a new event, especially one that turned out to be as fun as this is. I just find it amusing they made Chocobo Racing way bigger then it needed to be and this so much smaller then it should be.![]()
So my wife just made a level 5 ghost with INT+25 and ATT+15% innate, my level 15 ram has nothing innate and wicked low FP.
It's been such bullshit to get it up to 15 and at 45 a slot idk if I want to start over but if at 50 the only difference is small FP trait differences, do we think its possible a 0 innate trait mob can win against ones with STR+25 ATT+15% or MAB+15 + Fast cast innate?
I find it ironic that this is in the same expansion they added truly instanced content.
If it was instanced, you wouldn't be able to watch... at least, it'd be a very annoying process to watch. And watching is a lot of fun! (Hmmm...)
I never said it should be instanced, just that I find it ironic.Originally Posted by BRP
I generally dislike gambling, abhor the choco racing betting, but am having such a blast with this I would almost definitely do some pankration betting.7. Betting.
Chigoes start with 74 FP
Not having innate kind of sucks. You're basically missing a free ability. However, high FP vs. low FP doesn't mean all that. the highest FP mobs in the game are some of the weakest. The lowest FP mobs are some of the naturally strongest.Originally Posted by SathFenrir
And thanks for the Chigoes, I'll add them to the list, in my sig (for lack of a better place to store it)
I think low HP/stat monsters get most FP to make up for it?
I disagree. Apkallu's have high FP and are by no means weak. Maybe higher FP mobs are less likely to get innate traits? Can anyone else with Detector's/Chigoe/Apkallu comment on whether you got innate traits or not? It could be a possibility, higher FP pets allow for more customization but lower FP ones can potentially have more significant bonuses.Originally Posted by Kawfee
